Current sponsors
We believe funding should be visible. This page names who currently supports the Institute's work — and, just as importantly, tells you plainly when there is no one to name yet.
Where we are today
Octopus Research Institute is early-stage and is seeking its founding supporters. We are not listing sponsors we do not have. When an organisation begins supporting the work, it will appear here — named with its consent — alongside the nature of that support: compute, in-kind hardware, funding, or collaboration.
How support is disclosed
Funding and in-kind contributions are disclosed on the specific research pages they touch, not only here, so a reader judging a result can see what supported it. Support never buys influence over findings, and negative results are never softened for a sponsor.
How we acknowledge supporters
With a supporter's consent, we acknowledge their contribution here and on the research outputs it touched. A supporter who prefers to stay anonymous is recorded as an anonymous contribution rather than omitted, so the disclosure record stays complete.
Want to be the first?
We are actively looking for founding supporters across government, hardware vendors, research partners and philanthropy.
